Join us every Friday evening for our weekly Tot Shabbat Experience!  Our program runs every Friday (except on holidays and school closures) from 5:30 - 6:00ish.

This short, child-centered Shabbat program is geared toward kids ages birth - eight and their families though all kids at heart are welcome to attend!

We begin each week with Kabbalat Shabbat, a special time for z'mirot (songs) and brachot (blessings).  We sing old favorites and teach new melodies, we will even take requests!  In addition, we light the candles, have parents bless their children, bless and (most importantly) eat home baked challah and join together in the kiddush.

Kabbalat Shabbat will be followed with Sedra Storytime.   The Torah will come alive each week as we look at the weekly portion through our the eyes of our children.

The final part of our Tot Shabbat Experience will be our Hiddur Mitzvah Project.   The concept of Hiddur Mitzvah teaches us that mitzvot can be enhanced through aesthetics.  Our projects will serve as take home reminders of all of the mitzvot and lessons that we learn about each week.
