Northern Lights Dine-out & Entertainment
Northern Lights Dine-out & Entertainment is a 400 plus page restaurant, entertainment, recreation, service and travel discount book for the current year (October 15, 2006 to October 15, 2007). Over 400 businesses and merchants are offering a wide variety of discounts and incentives totaling more than $12,000.
Each business has its’ offer in perforated coupon form; coupons are transferable and need not be in the book at the time of use, thereby allowing the sharing of coupons with family and friends. Page margins contain relevant information, such as location, hours of operation, telephone numbers and product descriptions. Typically food establishments offer a two for one discount (Purchase one item and receive a complimentary second item of equal or lesser value. Other restaurants deduct a set dollar amount from either the total bill or second entrée, or offer a percentage (%) off the total food bill.
Over 200 Restaurants in South-central Alaska are represented in the Certificate, Specialty, Casual Dining, Mat-Su Valley & Kenai sections. An Espresso section offers various types and brands of coffee and related products, while the remainder of the book is divided into the following categories and sub-categories: Outdoor Recreation, Alaska Tours, Golfing, Athletic Clubs, Fishing, Indoor Recreation, Classes for Adults & Children, Theatre & The Arts, Health Care, Automotive Services, Pet Care & Supplies, Personal Care & Tanning, Cleaning/Repair, Florist, Video & Photography, Miscellaneous Services and Travel – Alaska & Beyond.
In Alaska a wide variety of sightseeing, tour operations and fishing charters are available but not limited to: Museums, Exhibits, River Tours, Glacier Tours, Mining Tours, Skiing, Snow Machining, Snow Boarding and Alaska Excursions (The Alaska Railroad, The Alaska Marine Highway, Alaskon Express, Fishing Charters, and more…).
