We are located 6 miles from downtown Anchorage.
Unfortunately, there are no kosher delis or restaurants, hotels or B&B's within walking distance of the synagogue.

From South Anchorage or Midtown:
Take the New Seward Hwy north. The limited-access, divided highway becomes undivided as it reaches midtown. The second traffic light in midtown is Benson. There is a Sears on the far left corner and a Fred Meyer on the far right corner. Turn right (east) onto Benson, which is a one-way street. You will go through one light on Benson and then it curves and becomes the east lanes of East Northern Lights Blvd. Follow Northern Lights about 4.5 miles almost to the very end.

You will go through several traffic lights and eventually you will see the mountains getting closer. When you can see the end of the road (a traffic-light, T-intersection with Muldoon), and there are no more traffic lights between you and the Muldoon intersection, start looking for left lane turn cuts in the median divider. The first is for a local road, the second heads into the synagogue parking lot, and the third goes into a Carrs/Safeway Grocery Store parking lot (where you can turn around and approach from the other direction if you pass us). Be alert. The synagogue has only a single wooden sign out front by the road which will be facing away from you. The building is blocked by trees until you reach the parking lot, so it's difficult to find until you are right at it.

From Downtown:
Take the Glenn Highway out of town heading east. Take the Muldoon exit heading south. Head roughly 2.1 miles south on Muldoon until you reach Northern Lights Blvd. There is a traffic light there and a Carrs/Safeway Grocery Store parking lot on the near right corner. Turn right (west) onto Northern Lights - it's the only way you can turn as Northern Lights begins here. You will pass another entrance into the Carrs parking lot and then immediately after that on the right (north) is the synagogue.

From North/Mat-Su Valley:
Take the Glenn Highway west into town. Take the Muldoon exit heading south. Head roughly 2.1 miles south on Muldoon until you reach Northern Lights Blvd. There is a traffic light there and a Carrs/Safeway Grocery Store parking lot on the near right corner. Turn right (west) onto Northern Lights - it's the only way you can turn as Northern Lights begins here. You will pass another entrance into the Carrs parking lot and then immediately after that on the right (north) is the synagogue.
